America’s Next Top Model Welcomes New Judge
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, The CW, America’s Next Top Model, Gossip, News,
Will the 14th season be the charm for Tyra Banks?
After cycling through a series of female faces for her judges panel, the America’s Next Top Model host has decided to try something new: she’s chosen a male. André Leon Talley, best known as the Vogue magazine’s editor-at-large, will now take over where Kimora Lee Simmons, Janice Dickinson, Twiggy and Paulina Porizkova left off.
Will a new direction result in less catty comments about Miss Banks? Oh - I hope not.
An air date for ANTM‘s next premiere has not been announced yet.

Up until last night, Modern Family had been ABC’s bright spot in the demos—that is, until Taylor Swift came along. Yesterday’s broadcast of the CMA Awards - plus Swift’s win for Entertainer of the Year - helped the network pull off wins in both the viewers and the demos this Wednesday.

Game 1 of the World Series was easily a knockout for FOX—but it also did well for ABC. Although it was a distant second in the viewers, the Alphabet network saw its audience numbers go up thanks to original counterprogramming.

- Monsters vs. Aliens (2.2/6) pulled in 6.9 million for NBC; a second showing (5.6 million, 1.9/5) did 1.3 million less.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine* (6.6 million, 1.6/5) lost 400,000; Gary Unmarried* (6.4 million, 1.7/5) did the same.
- It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown* (6.3 million, 2.0/6) did 500,000 better than last week’s Hank; The Middle (6.6 million, 2.2/6) picked up 200,000.
